24. Thyme Tea
Thyme tea is made from the common garden herb, botanically known as Thymus vulgaris. A cup of this tea has more to offer than its bitter taste. It makes a good gargle for sore throats. One of the volatile oils in thyme, thymol, is a potent antioxidant that helps increase healthy fats or omega-3 fatty acids in brain cells. It is also excellent for fevers, whooping coughs, lung troubles, and asthma. Thyme tea is a good remedy for stomach cramps, bowel gas, diarrhea, and headaches.
