French fries can be harmful for your health due to three major reasons. First, they are made from potatoes that can increase your insulin levels a lot. Second, as they are deep fried in oil, they are high on trans-fats content, which can cause severe heart attacks. Lastly, having been fried and baked at very high temperatures, French fries are also high on acrylamide content, which can cause cancer.
