8. Grapes – Good For Your Heart
It is not necessary to depend on red wine for your regular dosage of antioxidant resveratrol that keeps your heart protected (although, we aren’t opposed to that.. sometimes…). Throw in some purple or red grapes/grape juice into your smoothie to introduce those compounds into your body. They can lower the cardiac hypertrophy and blood pressure as well as reduce the bad cholesterol or low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels and keep your heart strong and healthy.
